I am not trying to start a big debate here or bash Obama (I think he’s the best legitimate candidate left) but I have just been genuinely curious for a while if all of his supporters are really fine with him supporting the reauthorization of the PATRIOT act [1] and also saying that he would be willing to take our military into Pakistan and Iran preemptively [2, 3]. Do most fans of his not realize these things, or do they just not mind?

isn’t it ironic how this whole family of good filesharing websites (waffles.fm, what.cd, indietorrents.com, demonoid.com to a lesser extent, and previously oink.cd) are all pro-sharing and obsessed with freedom of information and everything and yet are very very tight-assed about giving out memberships to their sites?
All the people on those filesharing sites are always ranting about how music should be for people’s enjoyment, the RIAA is so horrible, music should be able to be shared freely because of the first amendment, blah, blah, blah, and yet those same people get so much pleasure out of not allowing other people onto their sites. Such an elitist attitude! “Do NOT message me asking for invites. Any message asking for invites will be IGNORED!” And you’re just all about sharing the music, right?
And it’s not even their music! It’s someone else’s music that they’re sharing for crying out loud! They didn’t make the music! It’s like how hippies are all so crazy about sharing everything, but then when you think about it, they don’t have anything to share with anyone else. So when it comes down to it what they really mean by “sharing” is “mooching”.
